PERSONALLY VETTED REVIEW
A Traveling Spoon ambassador visited this host. Here is their personal review.

From the minute you meet Sandro you know you are with the real deal. He is a Peruvian through and through and is proud of it. A frequent visitor of the market, you will be taken through and shown the best places to buy just about everything. You will meet many of the interesting characters that spend their days as vendors at the market. A few minutes down the road, you will arrive at Sandro's lovely home and meet his wife. They will walk you through the preparation of a traditional Peruvian meal while you sip Piscos. Sandro was very comfortable teaching and leading in the kitchen which put us at ease. Sandro also has amazing recommendations for restaurants and local activities. We loved every minute of our experience and know you will too!

I had so much fun with my cooking class! Chef Sandro did a great job choosing a dish that worked with my dietary restrictions and is a modern take on the traditional Peruvian causa. We made a fish escabeche causa with cabrito fish and sweet potatoes. The balance of sweet, savory, spicy and sour was perfect. I learned so much about Peruvian cuisine, especially how creative chefs in Lima are creating modern versions of traditional Peruvian dishes.

The local Chef David, excellent treatment and closeness, explained to us in detail the features of Peruvian cuisine and We prepare different dishes: Causa Lima and veal saltada. Marvelous. (Google Translated)
