Constanza is a professional chef who studied at IAG (Instituto Argentino de Gastronomía), one of the most famous culinary schools in the country. Constanza is fascinated by the amazing food you get in different countries all over the world and loves to re-create these flavors her kitchen. She can cook all kinds of cuisines, ranging from Japanese to Moroccan, and even runs her own catering business. Apart from cooking, she also enjoys hosting and meeting new people, and sharing her knowledge and skills with others.

In-home meal: (1-10 guests) Constanza’s beautiful home is located in El Talar, a suburb 30-minutes outside of the city center. Constanza has a lovely, green backyard with grass and tall trees where she enjoys hosting friends and family for barbecues. If the weather is good, join Constanza in her backyard and sip on a welcome drink while you watch her barbecue various cuts of meat on the grill for a traditional Argentinean asado. Later, join Constanza and her husband and children (if they are home) at the dining table, where you might enjoy dishes like empanadas, the variety of meats and Argentinean sausages that you grilled, an assortment of cheese, bread and salad. Notes: Please note Constanza can also offer vegetarian meals on request.

In the beginning, I was not so sure if this experience is worth the trip to General Rodriguez, but after I arrived and met the charming hosts in their beautiful home with a lovely park, I realized that this is the correct place to experience a typical Argentinean BBQ -out of the city in the peaceful suburbs! This is surely an experience I will always remember.

We recently enjoyed a scrumptious meal and a wonderful evening with Juan and Marina. They reached out before the evening to ensure we were able to find their home. From the moment we arrived at their home they made us feel like special guests and new best friends at the same time. They greeted us with homemade pizza and endless delicious wine. Juan, who is a chef by training, showed us how to prepare empanadas and other appetizers from scratch. We had so much fun getting our hands dirty and kneading the dough. We were taught how to season beef properly and slow cook it on the outside wood and coal barbeque. We sat down to a delicious meal and felt very comfortable in their home. The food was delicious, probably the best beef and pork we have ever eaten and cooked to perfection. It was a highlight of our trip to Argentina and we did not want the evening to end. They made some excellent suggestions for other restaurants and things to do while in town. We very highly recommend this unique experience and we will definitely visit again when we return to Buenos Aires.- MazMaz January 12, 2025
My clients were absolutely amazed by this experience. The hosts were gracious and made my clients feel comfortable and welcome. They were shown authentic Argentinian cooking and enjoyed a great meal and company. Thank you Project Expedition and Constanza for delivering a first class experience.- Kathryn March 14, 2024
Five friends and family had a great time with Constanza and her husband Manolo. The class was in their home which made it more special. We really enjoyed watching Manolo cook the bbq and we learned a lot about the different cuts of meat and experienced some new tastes. The only drawback was the long distance to their home. Constanza helped guide our taxis. I highly recommend this class.- LynnRDN March 15, 2023

We traveled to B.A. in December before a trip to Antarctica and arrived on the day Argentina won the world cup. It was such an electric and amazing experience to be there and celebrate victory with the locals. But by far, the best experience we had in B.A. was our time with Connie and her husband, Monolo. They welcomed us into their home and treated us as family. They picked us up at our hotel and returned us with very safe and reliable transportation. Their home is situated in a very safe gated community with amazing architecture of the homes. Their backyard lani setting truly felt like a resort. Inside their kitchen, we donned our aprons and went to work. Corn empanadas were on the menu, and they were absolutly delishus. Connie was patient and educational, and immersed us into the history of Aregentina and their local customs. But then the real show began. Monolo showed us their parrilla and we started to experience a true asado via a cooking technique called a “la parrilla”. Wood fired smokey delish meats included chorizos, steaks, chittlings (which was absolutly amazing) and black pudding. My takeaway was the wonderful local wines they paired the meal with and they also cooked and served and the provoleta cheese, along with baguettes that were perfectly cooked with our meal. Very fair pricing for our experience in a loving home – I highly recommend and will be back again one day--- Thank you, Connie and Monolo !- Chuck2 January 19, 2023

Wow! We cannot say enough about this experience. It was excellent at every level. Not only did our host couple open their home to us on Christmas, but they showed us how make a number of exception traditional Argentine dishes, including a back yard barbeque that included meats, vegetables, & cheeses. We felt like family in the way we were welcomed into their home & we learned a lot through the experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!- Joseph January 05, 2023
The only thing that eclipsed the beautiful villa we explored and cooked in was the food itself. Constanza is incredibly knowledgeable and an excellent teacher who made sure to discuss the how and why along with the what for everything we did. It was a perfect mix of explanation, demonstration, and practice that resulted in a meal and dining experience that topped the best restaurants in Florence. My wife and I were joined with two families, one with children, and the kitchen became a wonderful community with our host accommodating us all. We left with our stomachs and hearts full and with an renewed appreciation for quality ingredients that make excellent food and the joy that should come with cooking.- Peter C September 12, 2022

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time with Constanza and Manolo. We learned how an Argentine asado is setup and how to cook different cuts of meats. We also learned how to make corn empanadas, which I haven’t had before. The recipe was so simple and the empanadas turned out so delicious, I can’t wait to make them when we are back in NYC. A warm , authentic experience. We had an absolutely lovely time with Costanza and Manolo! From the minute we walked through the door their energy was contagious. It was our last night in Argentina, and we couldn't go out without knowing how they (Argentinean :)) prepare it! Upon arriving we were welcomed with open arms and asked to feel at home. And we really feel like with friends, enjoying cooking and company. We used to barbecue, but it was our first time to see and learn to prepare meat in the traditional Argentinean style. This was probably the best evening we've ever had with another couple learning how to cook authentic Argentinian grilling (Asado) and making empanadas. But best of all was the warm, friendly, and charming couple, Constanza and Manolo, who taught the class in their gorgeous home. Constanza taught us to make empanadas and Manolo demonstrated all of the finer details of Asado grilling, like building the fire, placement of the meats, and putting the embers exactly where needed to perfectly cook everything. Then we sat down at their dinner table with 7 different kinds of meats (beef, pork, sausages and more) and had a feast with this delightful and interesting couple. The evening could not have been better. Manolo was beyond charming and Constanza was adorable and both were outstanding teachers. Many thanks for an evening we'll never forget. It was an extra charge for them to pick us up at our hotel and bring us home afterwards and I highly recommend this option because it makes the evening more relaxing.- davidscanlan December 18, 2019

This felt like a couple that you knew at the university who got married, moved to Argentina, and you are now visiting them many years later. An evening with Constanza and Juan was the highlight of our stay in Argentina. Their house is beautiful, perfect for entertaining and experiencing an Argentine barbecue. The food was really delicious.
