Your host Callie (Mixology)
Callie is a warm and friendly host with a love for food and drinks who hosts a fun online mixology class. Callie honed her bartending skills working at restaurant bars and loves experimenting with new flavors. An avid traveler, Callie creates unique drinks inspired by global flavors. She is delighted to not only showcase her mixology skills but also connect with travelers on a deeper level through food and drink. Callie teaches you to make modern and traditional cocktails based on local ingredients and diverse flavors. During your mixology class that lasts about 1.5 hours, you'll learn to make 3 cocktails from scratch and enjoy them over fun conversation with your host. Callie loves to explore different cocktails from around the world so she may vary the cocktail menu from time to time. If there is a particular cocktail you'd like to learn to make, feel free to ask her. Begin your cocktail making class by learning to make a Callie creation called Bees Knees, a light and refreshing cocktail created from whiskey, lemon and agave. Next, learn to make a mojito muddled with fresh blackberries, jalapeno and mint. Your third cocktail is the traditional Old Fashioned. Callie is delighted to share the history of the ingredients used in the cocktails and helps you appreciate the tastes and aromas of the different spirits. Learn about the techniques and tips involved in making and tasting cocktails as you shake your own cocktails with the help of this expert mixologist during this online cocktail making class.
