Professionally, Leela and her husband were a customs deputy commissioner and a political science professor. But passionately, they are foodies and cooks. In fact, they are so passionate about food that Leela's market tour has aired on Chinese TV. Leela focuses on traditional Kerala Syrian Christian feast cuisine, using recipes handed down from generation to generation. Cook together chicken stew, a rich coconut milk curry stewed along with potatoes and chicken and appam, thin pancakes made with fermented rice and coconut milk, in your online cooking class. Fun fact, chicken stew and appam is an indispensable part of a Christmas menu in Kerala!
