      I have met several Traveling Spoon hosts now, and my conversation with Annette and Jose was among my best. Even though Jose and I did not speak the same language, Annette was incredibly attentive to translating – her skills as an English teacher in Sevilla are very apparent. It was fascinating to hear her and Jose’s perspectives on Sevilla and Spain overall. Jose was awesome, an opinionated and proud Spaniard. I learned so much and will always remember my incredible conversations and experience with these two!

      Our cooking experience with Elena was amazing. My husband and I and our three young elementary age kids all enjoyed our time with Elena immensely. She was adorable with our children, joking around with them and engaging them in the food preparation. The food and the drinks were fantastic, and she made us feel right at home. It was like cooking with an old friend. As we left, our kids asked if we could come back again the next day. I wasn't sure what to expect, but we were thrilled with the experience.
